Newberry sophomore Gracie Johnson has been named Player of the Year for the Eastern Upper Peninsula (EUP) All-Conference Girls Basketball Team for the 2025-26 season after an outstanding year leading the Indians.

Johnson averaged 23 points per game, 9 rebounds, 4.3 steals, and 2 assists per game this season while helping pace Newberry’s offense throughout the conference schedule.

St. Ignace sophomore Katie Halberg was selected as the conference’s Defensive Player of the Year. Halberg anchored the Saints’ defense, averaging 8 rebounds, 6.6 steals, 7.6 deflections, and 1.3 blocks per game.

Halberg also earned First Team All-Conference honors. She was joined on the first team by:

Calie Tremblay, Brimley – 11.2 PPG, 6.8 RPG, 5 SPG, 3 APG (Grade 12)
