The annual Harvest Festival at Tahquamenon Falls State Park will take place this Saturday, September 24 at the Lower Falls from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Everyone is welcome to participate, regardless of their camping status. Events include campsite decorating, hayrides, archery programs, and more.

The festival kicks off with coffee and hot chocolate available at the host sites from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. A Hayride with Smokey the Bear departs from the Hemlock campground at 10 a.m., followed by an open archery shoot from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Another hayride with Smokey takes place at 1 p.m. at the Portage Campground. Crafts and bonfires will be available at the host sites from 2-4 p.m., and a camper chili cook-off at the Portage Shower Building begins at 3 p.m.

The festival wraps up with trick-or-treating at all Lower Falls campgrounds from 5-7 p.m.
