From the Paradise Area Chamber of Commerce:

The Paradise Area Chamber of Commerce has evaluated the current COVID19 restrictions, expressed concerns for new COVID 19 virus variations, vaccine implementations, unknown future public policy restrictions, and the need for team chairperson volunteers. As a result of this deliberation, the chamber has canceled the 2021 Wild Blueberry Festival.

The Wild Blueberry Festival is a long standing, cherished eastern Upper Peninsula event. Notifications have been sent to Arts & Crafts Fair artisans, food vendors, and entertainers. The chamber is planning to host the next Wild Blueberry Festival, August 19 – 21, 2022.

The safety and well being of the Paradise community residents, volunteers, visitors and its businesses remains a priority. While these are challenging times, the Paradise Area Chamber of Commerce welcomes visitors throughout the region as a means of reconnecting with nature and building family memories along the shores of Lake Superior, the Hiawatha National Forrest and the Tahquamenon Falls State Park.
