Helen Newberry Joy Hospital, is hosting a ribbon-cutting and grand opening at the Eckerman Health Clinic new clinic building on May 19, 2022.
The event will start at noon and will end at 4 p.m.
The public is invited to celebrate the occasion by browsing the new clinic.
Eckerman Health Clinic, the fourth clinic owned and managed by Helen Newberry Joy Hospital, is located on M-28 near the corner of M-123 and M28.
The new, modern clinic will open its doors to patients on May 23, 2022. It features state-of-the-art equipment and will provide access to healthcare for patients in nearby communities.
Services in the new location include cancer screenings, reproductive health, family planning, sports physicals, treatment of colds and flu, respiratory conditions, ear and sinus infections, minor injuries, chronic diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes and more. Eckerman Health Clinic will be staffed with Brook Dake FNP-C, and Joseph Jankowski PA.
Helen Newberry Joy Hospital has served Luce County and the surrounding area since 1965.
