I live on the outskirts of Newberry, and am currently a senior at Newberry High School. I’ve lived in Newberry my whole life.

If you see me around town, I always enjoy a good hunting story. I was a proud member of the cross country team for six years before deciding to take my senior year off, though I still plan on cheering for my teammates.

If I’m not at school (or work), you’ll most likely find me in the great outdoors. Whether it be hunting, jogging, or practicing photography; it’s always better with the wind on your face.

I am also a member of the student council, National Honor Society, and the yearbook committee.

As an avid hunter, my favorite season is naturally fall. I love watching the leaves change and drinking hot coffee before walking to my hunting blind in the morning. One of my favorite memories is watching two small bucks spar in the woods.

My favorite movie is The Patriot, starring Mel Gibson and Heath Ledger. I think it’s one of the most frustrating and inspirational movies ever made, and that everyone could learn something from the history that created our country.

I enjoy game nights with friends, despite always losing at monopoly. As well as participating in extracurricular activities at the school, I am also employed there as a student janitor.
