Garrison A. Tippett
November 24, 1948 – September 4, 2023
Garrison Allen “Pappy” Tippett of Curtis, age 74, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2023.
Gary was the father of Dee Anne (Ibrahim Kaddouh) and Gerald “Jerry” (Cheryl Tippett); grandpa of Elizabeth, Kelcie (Ben Hauch) and Kaylinn; great grandpa of Carter, Emerson, Emma and Grace.
He was preceded in death by his son Steven.
Gary was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and served 2 consecutive tours during the Vietnam War.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 4-8 pm at Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston. Funeral Services will be Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 12:30 pm at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will take place Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 2 pm at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Vietnam Veterans of America, St. Jude’s or a local animal shelter.
