Richard D. Falconer

Our father, Richard (Rick) D. Falconer, left this world on August 24th, 2022 at the age of 81.
Rick retired from Wayne County Drain Commission with a supervisory position to pursue his and his late wife Sue’s passion of living on Lake Superior in Paradise, MI. Rick’s interests and hobbies included fishing for perch, blueberry picking, hunting for agates and “creating” in his garage. Rick was very active in the community enjoying his many friends while helping with their projects.
Rick had many accomplishments throughout his life and loved to reflect on them in the form of stories and pictures. Rick also had a passionate love affair with ice water, home cooked meals and black cherry ice cream. His most recent hobbies included his love of puzzles and flirting with the many nurses.
He leaves behind his son, Richard Falconer Jr; his daughter, Rosealeta Falconer; his grandchildren Amy and Richard; and his great grandchildren Jacob, Evan and Jane.
Rick’s wit and charm will be sadly missed as he will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
