Sue Pearl Bissette
October 7, 1944 – March 13, 2022
Former Germfask resident, Sue Pearl Bissette, 77, died Sunday afternoon March 13, 2022 at her granddaughter’s, Angie McNeill, residence in Newberry surrounded by her loving family and the care of North Woods Home Care and Hospice. Sue was born October 7, 1944 in Highland Park, Michigan, daughter of late Terry and Helen (Goodfellow) Gamblin.
In addition to being a homemaker raising her family, Sue was formerly employed at Pride Plastics in Ferndale, Michigan. Sue enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, watching TV and was a lover of animals.
Survivors include her children Helen (Donald) Miller of Iron Mountain, Bobby Ray (Lisa Campbell) Bissette of Lapeer and Michael Bissette of Lapeer; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; siblings Marvin (Barbara) Gamblin of Lake Orion and Cheryl Gamblin of Murrels Inlet, South Carolina.
A gathering of family and friends celebrating the life of Sue will be held at a later date.

Charles Arthur Moore
May 4, 1965 – March 4, 2022
Longtime Newberry resident, Charles Arthur “Chuckie” Moore, 56, died Friday March 4, 2022 at his residence. Chuckie was born May 4, 1965 in Newberry, son of Charles E. and Charlotte I. (Wabsey) Moore.
Chuckie was employed as a fork lift operator for Newberry Wood Enterprises for several years. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, cruising dirt roads and spending time with his family. Chuckie was a member of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians.
Chuckie is preceded in death by his mother Charlotte Moore and sister Norma Moore.
Survivors include his son, Charles Dakota Moore, of Newberry; father Chuck Moore of Newberry; granddaughter Alexa Moore and sister Ellie Moore of Newberry.
Per request, cremation services were accorded. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
