A 39-year-old mother has been missing from the Gulliver area since Friday, August 2. Michigan State Police troopers and detectives have asked for tips and information regarding the whereabouts of Kristen Terrian, who was last seen at 5:30 a.m. on the Michibay Beach in Manistique Township. Some reports suggest she was in the company of a man at the time.
Terrian is a white female with brown hair. She stands 5-feet, 3-inches tall and weighs about 100 pounds. She was last seen wearing no shoes, light blue jeans, and a dark green longsleeved shirt. Her family requests prayers for her safe return.
Tips can be given to the Negaunee Regional Communications Center at (866) 411-0019, the Manistique Outpost at (906) 341-2102, or the Gladstone Post at (906) 428-4412. Police have asked members of the public not to search for Terrian on their own because it can disturb evidence and her scent trail, which canines will attempt to follow. Police advised on Tuesday that this is still a rescue mission and Terrian is hoped to be alive.
A candle-light vigil of friends and supporters will be held Sunday, August 11 at the band shell at Little Bear West Arena in Manistique.
