McLean Sales, a business that has been part of Newberry since 1965, will transfer ownership beginning on Monday, October 20. The store specializes in selling, installing, and servicing home appliances.

Ben and Beth Rahilly have purchased the business from longtime owners John and Denise McLean.

The store will be closed from Thursday, October 16 – Saturday, October 18 during the transfer of the business.

John and Denise plan to stay on for a while to make a smooth transition.

The store will continue to retain their original hours and will continue offering appliance sales and services.

There will be an open house on Wednesday, October 22 with refreshments and door prizes. You can also enter in a free drawing for a 16 cubic foot garage ready upright freezer.
