Curtis will host a Community Forum on Tuesday, October 21, from 5:30–8 p.m. at the Pine Performance Center, Erickson Center for the Arts. The event will reveal results from the First Impressions Tourism (FIT) assessment, a program that brings first-time visitors to experience a community and share what they see.

“It’s an event for the entire community,” said Will Cronin, MSU Extension educator and lead presenter. “It’s a chance to hear what stood out to visitors, celebrate Curtis’s strengths, and talk about what comes next.”

FIT has helped communities across Michigan—from Copper Harbor to Ionia—identify hidden gems and strengthen tourism.

Statewide, 92% of participants say FIT helps advance tourism, and 84% say it improves community collaboration
The forum will feature a presentation of visitor findings, Q&A, and refreshments. All residents, business owners, and neighbors are welcome.
